1. Who We Are

MFZ Studio (www.mfzstudio.com) operates this event registration platform (event.mfzstudio.com). MFZ Studio acts as the data controller for platform and account data, while the event organizer (as shown on the event page) acts as the data controller (jointly with MFZ Studio where applicable) for registration information collected through the event.

2. Information We Collect

We collect: full name, phone/WhatsApp number, email, NRIC/passport number, motorcycle details, t-shirt size, emergency contact name and phone, payment proof, and technical logs (IP address, device type, page visits) for security and aggregate analytics.

3. How We Use It

Information is used for: registration and invoicing, payment verification, event operations and participant safety (including contacting your emergency contact), communication via WhatsApp/email, anonymized statistics, and fraud prevention/system security.

4. Why We Process Your Data

Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, we process personal data only for the purposes stated in this notice: to provide the registration and invoicing service, verify payment, support event safety and communication, prevent fraud and secure the system, and comply with legal obligations. Where consent is required for a specific purpose, we obtain it separately; consent may be withdrawn at any time (which may affect your registration).

5. Disclosure

Information is only shared with: the event organizer, service providers (hosting, payment, communication), and authorities when required by law. We DO NOT sell your personal data.

6. Retention

Registration data is kept for up to 12 months after the event or as required by law. Payment proofs and identity data are deleted or anonymized earlier where no longer necessary, subject to legal, accounting or dispute requirements. Visit logs are kept for a shorter period.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational security measures, including HTTPS, secure session controls, restricted access to administrative systems and protected storage for payment proofs. No system is completely secure.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access and correct your personal data, withdraw consent where processing depends on it, and request limitation of processing where applicable, subject to applicable law. You may also lodge a complaint with the Department of Personal Data Protection (JPDP), which is under the Ministry of Digital.
